Walking mostly on paths at lower levels, most times flat for about 6 hours each day.
Day 1: Marrakech
Transfer from Marrakech Menara airport.
Day 02: Marrakech - Azilal - Ait Bougmez.
Drive towards the east alongside fields of barley, corn and potato to the foothills of the Middle Atlas range of mountains.
Then we cross the Ait Abbas valley, a lush valley full of pines and oak trees, groves of pomegranate and fig, apple and olive to arrive at Ait Bougmez "The Happy Valley".
Day 03: Ait imi- Ibaklioune
Morning : Trekking : 03.30 Hours
Afternoon : Trekking : 02.30 Hours
Start our hiking tour beside fields of barley and corn to Ait Imi: 1850 meters.
This charming fortified village was once an important stop on the caravan trails.
Visit of traditional water mills, lunch in the shade of old nut trees.
Afternoon, return through the right side of the valley to the village of Ibaklioune where we may see vestiges of Dinosaurs.
Day 04: Arouss - Ahabbak valley
Morning : Trekking : 04 Hours
Afternoon : Trekking : 02 Hours
Besides the Arouss valley, rich with orchards of apricot, apple and nut trees, we climb to Lamane Pass : 2250 meters.
Lunch at Ahabbak valley.
Afternoon, walk to the crest of Tassila where we may have the opportunity to see white storks nesting on village roof tops and a panoramic view of the valley.
Day 05: Ait Moussa - Agouti
Morning : Trekking : 03.30 Hours
Afternoon : Trekking : 02 Hours
Hike to Ait Moussa , collective granary perched on top of a steepish 150 meters slope overlooking a large part of Ait Bougmez valley.
Lunch besides Sidi Ghitta Pyramids, from here we set out on our afternoon trek across the plateau to the village of Agouti.
Day 06: Tizi N'Oughrbar - M'goun
Morning : Trekking : 04 Hours
Afternoon : Trekking : 02.30 Hours
Early morning trek to Tizi N'Oughrbar (2400 meters) which offers us a magnificent panoramic view of the M'goun massif : 4068 meters, the second highest mountain, after Jbel Toubkal.
Lunch on the sheepholds of Arouss.
Return through the paths to Ait Said Village.
Day 07: Scenic drive to Marrakech in the morning.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Marrakech including the Menara Garden, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadien Tumbs and the Djemaa El Fna Square.
Day 08: Transfer to Marrakech Menara airport.
